Beyonce appearing July 17 at United Center

Boy, Beyonce sure looked rusty on stage at the Super Bowl, huh?

Um, no, she didn't. The pop/R&B icon strutted and belted like the superstar she is Sunday, and soon Chicagoans can see the elaborate show of big singing, stuttering dancing and proudly displayed legs up close. Today promoter Live Nation announced that Beyonce's "The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" includes a stop Wednesday, July 17 at United Center. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11 and will run you from $45-$250.

The tour kicks off April 15 in Belgrade, Serbia and ends Aug. 3 in Brooklyn. Beyonce will need just a bit of energy to conquer the planet for three-and-a-half months (with a month-long break between May 29 in Stockholm, Sweden and June 28 in L.A.), but something tells me she's up for it.

Strangers whooshing by in view of your living room isn't a new problem in Chicago, where the CTA’s elevated tracks can provide a view of residents' balconies, backyards or even bathrooms. Ashley Marchi just moved to one such apartment.
