Now that we're firmly in April, it's time to take a look back at some songs and mixes you may have missed over the past few months that we think you should check out.

ProbCause feat. Chance the Rapper "LSD" (Hood Internet remix)
An all-Chicagoan combination, the track from Prob's "Recipe pt. 2" mixtape last year gets a fresh coat of paint thanks to the remix/mashup duo.

Boolu Master R.I.P. Frankie Knuckles tribute mix
Boolu Master is an underrated gem in the local DJ community. His tribute to the late Frankie Knuckles (who died early last week) is easily one of the best ones presented so far.

Dan + Shay "19 You + Me"
Currently skyrocketing up Billboard's "Heatseekers" chart (aka the "You'll be hearing this everywhere in a few months" chart) this Scooter Braun-managed (Current clients include Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, The Wanted) country act are more than likely going to be all over the place as summer kicks off.

Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks "Little Fang"
A indie rock supergroup (consisting of members of Animal Collective, Dirty Projectors and Ponytail) have partnered to create a poppy, spooky single off their forthcoming debut "Enter the Slasher House." Be sure to check them out when they hit town in July to play the Pitchfork Music Festival.

Big Boi - "Mrs. Vanderbilt Told Me"
The more productive half of Outkast has stayed busy with his "Mashup Mondays" series, taking tunes from his solo recordings and blending them with tunes by legendary acts like Stevie Wonder and, in this case Paul McCartney. Big Boi blends his "Momma Told Me" with Wings' "Mrs. Vanderbilt" from 1973's "Band On The Run" LP.

Lucki Eck$ - "All Senses"
Part of the Closed Sessions documentary series, NYC producer Hot Sugar laces the Chicagoan with a sleepy track, allowing Eck$ to showcase his surprisingly relaxed flow, considering his age (Eck$ is 17.)

CHERUB - Doses and Mimosas"
Nashville electro-pop duo Cherub debuted this funky track over a year ago, but the track is finally starting to make the rounds. The act played Lollapalooza last year and will be releasing new music in 2014.
