David Broder, national political correspondent and columnist for the Washington Post, will give speak on ”The Politics of the `90s: A Question of Leadership,” at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Breasted Hall, at the University of Chicago`s Oriental Institute, 1155 E. 58th St.

Broder, recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in 1973, writes a syndicated column which appears twice weekly in more than 300 newspapers across the United States and abroad.

A native of Chicago and a University of Chicago graduate, Broder will be visiting the university as a Marjorie Kovler Visiting Fellow.

The Marjorie Kovler Visiting Fellow program is designed to encourage interaction between students at the University of Chicago and prominent individuals in the arts and public affairs.
