Three very hot clarinetists celebrate Benny Goodman

"It's three people coming from three different approaches."

That may be a lot of reeds for a concert that also will feature vocalists Cyrille Aimee and Sylvia McNair. Then, again, Goodman's legacy certainly merits the attention.

Art Hoyle: Trumpeter Hoyle has been contributing to music in Chicago for more than half a century, his blues-tinged trumpet lines and gravelly vocals as appealing as ever.
