Cubs president of baseball operations Theo Epstein and Cubs owners Tom and Todd Ricketts watched Game 6 of the World Series at The Fifty/50 in Ukrainian Village Thursday. Coincidentally, I was there as well and got to see Theo-madness first hand.
When a graphic appeared on screen during the FOX broadcast regarding the Cubs' World Series drought, one patron yelled Epstein's name. He didn't react that time, but he did wave when patrons called out his name as he left the bar after the game. He shook hands and took pictures with a few people as well.
Epstein's table drank Coronas and ordered the corn fried calamari, poutine, skirt steak sandwich and meatball sub. It was unclear who Epstein was cheering for during the game, but Tom, who is an investor in The Fifty/50, clapped when the St. Louis Cardinals' David Freese hit the game winning home run.
