Lupe Fiasco wants to customize a hip-hop verse just for you. You pick the subject matter. You pick the mood. You pick the instrumental. The Chicago rapper will do the rest.

Fiasco is charging $500 for each verse and another $500 if you want to watch him record it. He revealed the proposition Wednesday on Twitter.

“I will personalize a 1 verse song for you. $500,” Fiasco tweeted. “You pick the instrumental, mood & subject. 1 physical copy which you must come pick up. … NOT a collaboration boys...those are 50k ;)...just a personal song tailor made for you...usage will be strictly monitored via contract.”

“For now You have to come where the verse is recorded thats determined by my schedule You'll be contacted in that event to know where & when.”

It’s unclear what prompted the idea or how many people have taken him up on the offer so far.

Fiasco recently told SiriusXM Radio’s “The Tor Guide” he “can’t wait to get off” Atlantic Records. Fiasco released his last album, “Food & Liquor II,” which was nominated for a Grammy, in 2012. A release date for his upcoming album, “Tetsuo & Youth,” has yet to be announced.
