Chicago Folk and Roots Festival: The Old Town School of Folk Music’s annual throw-down is a multi-act, family-friendly event that includes as headliners R&B singer Delbert McClinton and rockabilly siren Rosie Flores (Saturday) and Cuban flutist Maraca and Congolese rapper Baloji (Sunday), 12:30 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday at Welles Park, Lincoln and Montrose, $10 donation ($5 for seniors and children); chicagofolkandroots.org.
