It's somewhat unfair to note that nothing I've seen for the 31st annual Reeling film festival (Thursday through Nov. 14, most screenings $10-$12) comes close to the quality of "Blue is the Warmest Color," the three-hour lesbian love story that won Cannes 2013 and opened in Chicago last week. That film is one of the year’s best, LGBT-related or not. That disclaimer on the record, here are a few to see and a few to skip at this year’s fest. -- Matt Pais, RedEye movie critic firstname.lastname@example.org, @mattpais
