'The Avengers'

I realize many will disagree with this, and I'm OK with that. "The Avengers" has a fantastic climactic sequence, that's also just a very good version of something we've seen a million times, and a story that contains too much chatter for not enough pay-off. Given the option between watching "Avengers" or "Captain America: The First Avenger" again, the choice couldn't be easier.
