Everyone loves nostalgia
From the black-and-white silent film "The Artist" (pictured) to Martin Scorsese's plea for film preservation "Hugo" to Steven Spielberg's old-fashioned, John Ford-esque "War Horse," what's old is new again. Which leaves little room for actual new ideas, but that's another story.
