Throwing the perfect WrestleMania Party!

This Sunday the longest-running storyline in the WWE this year will come to an end. That will happen when John Cena faces off against "The People's Champion" Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the main event at WrestleMania 28! The feud was kicked off at the conclusion of last year's WM and has been built up for a whole year. Fans are divided as to who will come out on top, but what can't be disputed is that with this clash of eras, the match is going to be one for the ages. (My money is on Cena scoring the win. That's my gut feeling. Who's to say that the bookers of WWE won't have a different idea?)

Now, since I didn't have a small fortune to fly down to Miami and attend the event in person, I decided to invite a few of my closest friends and throw a WrestleMania party back in the Geek Cave. We'll kick back on the couch and watch the "Super Bowl of Sports Entertainment" on my big-screen television, while enjoying snacks inspired by the Superstars of the WWE.

When I asked my friends at the WWE for some ideas, they kindly obliged with the following:

Opening Moves:

Brahma Bull Bacon Sliders - Inspired by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson: Ground beef patty stuffed with Monterey jack and bacon. Served on a toasted bun with layers of lettuce, sliced tomato, onion, and your choice of condiments.

Mizwich - Inspired by WWE Superstar The Miz: A mixture of beef, sausage and a Cheez Whiz/Worcestershire sauce broiled and served on slices of cocktail bread.

Finishers:

Fruity Pebble Finisher - Inspired by WWE Superstar John Cena: Crispy marshmallow treats made with colored, fruit flavored rice cereal,  that can be sliced into a shape of your choosing.

Superstar Slammers:

The Most Electrifying Emulsion - Inspired by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson: Vodka, gin, whisky, energy drink and lemon juice topped off with a can of beer.

Cena Cider (Non-Alcoholic)- Inspired by WWE Superstar John Cena: A combination of orange juice, tangerine juice, sparkling apple cider and grenadine served chilled.

Long Island Fist Pump Punch - Inspired by WWE Superstar Zack Ryder: Vodka, gin, light rum, tequila, and triple sec blended with pineapple juice, grenadine syrup and orange juice served with ice.

No matter what munchies you may have, nothing makes a party like hanging out with good friends and   enjoying the spectacle that the WWE puts on each year with WrestleMania! Follow me on Twitter where I will be live-tweeting during WM28. Tweet me pics from your own parties and let me know who you think will walk out the victor!
