While I have a reputation for being an expert in all things geeky, I'll have to admit that I'm not into video games like I once was. The truth is that today's gaming systems just don't carry the same allure for me like the classic systems I grew up with.

I know, I know, it makes me sound like an old geek regaling younger gamers with tales of how sexy 8-bit console systems were "back in the day."

To tell the truth, after talking to Tim Dunn and Clayton Margeson on the "Talking Games" podcast, I was forced to confront how trapped I am in my video game past!

As we discussed our experiences as gamers, I kept going back to my love of all the classic titles produced by the now-defunct LucasArts.

(And I kept realizing what a hoarder I am - as evidenced by the gallery I've posted above. Yeah, I have all these games in their original packaging stashed away in my "nerd cave.")

Tim and Clayton were very gracious, and were willing to indulge me. We talked about our favorite Star Wars titles, my favorite Indiana Jones game, and what kind of new game we'd like to see produced in the future.

We also discussed the Star Wars Prequels and what we think will happen in the new sequels and one-shots.

I had a lot of fun sitting in and chatting it up with these guys! Give the "Talking Games" podcast a listen and let me know what you think:
