I read your article, "Don't Date Your Roommate." I wish I could have a female roommate. I haven't had sex in the last seven months. I feel very horny. I am a 30-year-old African living on the North Side. I am very much interested in dating white ladies. What do you advise me?
Thank you in advance.
—Looking for white, hot love
I would advise you to keep most of this information to yourself going forward. I would also suggest that you don't tell women you're horny. Exceptions to this include Craigslist erotic encounters.
Where are white women, you ask? At Macy's, probably. Definitely at Pinkberry. They can also be found at Ann Taylor, Pottery Barn, nail salons, The Container Store and Lululemon. White ladies are, in fact, everywhere! They shop at your grocery stores and drink at your local Starbucks. Indeed, it seems you can't throw a tiny dog out of a window without it landing on a white lady. But if you need concrete suggestions that are definitely offensive to everyone involved, here they are.
A few of my black-lovin,' white girlfriends suggest you chat up the wildly gesticulative gals at Bulls games. A different friend, whom I will not name, suggests, "Uptown coffee shop, depending on the age of your suitor, or an African American studies class (ripe for the picking). Lincoln Park bars are good...Does he have any white friends? Nothing like the 'he's totally cool' stamp of approval."
Now that we're all uncomfortable, here's some actual advice. Interracial dating sites are plentiful, even if their stock couple photos are not. A few of them are: afromance.com, interracialromance.com, interracialmatcher.com, whitewomenblackmendating.com, and blackandwhitesingles.com. And that was from a really brief Google search. If you dig deeper, I'm sure you'll find more.
Also, if you need research to back you up, according to the latest Pew report, the U.S. rate of interracial marriage has more than doubled in the last 20 years. Attitudes are changing too. Of people polled, 43 percent said that "more people of different races marrying each other has been a change for the better in our society." Pew also found that "minorities, younger adults, the college-educated, those who say they're liberal and those who live in the Northeast and the West are more likely to view intermarriage positively." So there's that.
But seriously bro, head to LA Fitness.
