About Last Night

It’s hard to predict all of the celebrities who will attend Lollapalooza this year. Unlike a major sporting event in Chicago, the stars in the Lollapalooza crowd aren’t just actors, musicians and athletes with local ties. They’re often from all over the country and can be completely random (like “Superbad” actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse and “Twilight” actor Kellan Lutz last year). We do, however, know a few of the big names who will be taking in the Lollapalooza festivities, either because they're making appearances in the city or tweeted about it.
“Breaking Bad” act Aaron Paul and chef Guy Fieri are scheduled to take part in the Celebrity Kickball Tournament Saturday in Grant Park (Paul will also appear at Debonair Social Club that night). Ex-Fall Out Boy bassist and Wilmette native Pete Wentz and former “Malcolm in the Middle” actor Chris Masterson will also be here, as usual. They're both DJing at Paris Club's Studio Paris Thursday. Wyclef Jean will perform at The Underground Friday.
“True Blood” actor Joe Manganiello isn’t scheduled to make any public appearances that I know of, but I've heard from multiple people that he will take in the festivities.
The Bulls’ Joakim Noah has attended Lollapalooza in the past. When asked on Twitter if he will go to the festival this year, Noah tweeted "hell ye ... I can't miss that. Word is chief keef is gonna b there too. Bang bang." Sharon Osbourne, wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne, has tweeted twice in the last few days that she is "excited" for her husband's show with his old Black Sabbath bandmates at Lollapalooza.
There are three network TV shows filming in Chicago right now and it’s not out of the question for cast members from those series to attend as well. “Rock of Ages” actor Diego Boneta, who is here filming MTV's "Underemployed,” seemed very interested when we talked about the festival earlier this summer. Maybe you’ll see former “Friday Night Lights” actor and Evanston native Zach Gilford and former "Vampire Diaries" actor Taylor Kinney at Lollapalooza. They're here filming Fox's "The Mob Doctor" and NBC's"Chicago Fire," respectively.
And then there’s Lindsay Lohan.
The "Mean Girls" actress has been a regular at Lollapalooza the last few years. Will she come back this year? When I asked her publicist, he simply responded "We don't discuss her travel plans."
