One down, 12 to go. The California station is done, but renovation of a dozen others along the Blue Line route are on tap. RedEye rounds up the upcoming work on the Blue Line O’Hare branch and connecting subway. The $492 million project is in its first of four years.

>> The Damen stop in Wicker Park will close Monday for two months for station entrance repairs that include replacing the wood floor with granite and removing concession space to give riders more room. The platform will get new furniture and a new wood deck. The bike storage room will see lighting, flooring and ceiling improvements.

>> Work has already started on the Western stop in Logan Square, which will get new bike racks, better lighting and new paint on the stairs to the secondary entrance and exit.

>> The Grand, Chicago and Division stops in West Town will get new escalators, doors, furniture and lights. The stations also will see improvements to the floors, walls and ceilings.

>> The Logan Square stop will see elevator improvements and secondary entrance upgrades.

>> The Addison stop in Avondale will get a new elevator to make it accessible for riders with disabilities. There also will be concrete platform repairs.

>> The Jefferson Park stop will get a new canopy and lights at its bus turnaround area. The escalator and stairs will be replaced. There will be new lights in the station entryway and on the platform.

>> The Irving Park stop, Montrose stop in Irving Park, Harlem stop in Norwood Park and Cumberland stop near the O’Hare Airport will see platform fixes and improved lighting.

>> The California stop reopened Thursday and received granite floors in the station entrance, new bike racks, better signs and new wood deck on the platform.
