WBBM-Ch. 2 weekday news anchor Rob Johnson has listed his six-bedroom house in Hinsdale for $1.19 million.
Johnson, 45, co-anchor of Channel 2's 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts, has owned the 3,440-square-foot brick and stone home since buying it through a bank trust in 2004 for $1.17 million. He has a contract pending to sell the house, although the deal is awaiting contingencies.
The house, built in 2003, has 5 1/2 baths, hardwood floors, crown and cove moldings, three fireplaces and a wine cellar. The house also has four finished levels, a first-floor den and a professionally landscaped yard.
Johnson first listed the home in August for $1.25 million. He cut his asking price to $1.19 million last month.
Johnson declined to comment on why he is selling or where he plans to move.
Linda Feinstein of ERA Team Feinstein is the listing agent.
