A Forest Park man died of heat stroke this week, the Cook County medical examiner’s office determined today.
Jan Karbin, 67, was declared dead Wednesday at 6:01 p.m. at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Karbin, of the 800 block of Dunlop Avenue in the west suburb, died from heat stroke in a an accident, after being found unresponsive at his home, the medical examiner’s office determined.
Forest Park Police Chief Jim Ryan confirmed police were aware of the death, and no further investigation was needed following the medical examiner's ruling, but further details were not immediately available.
