'Unspeakable,' the Richard Pryor show, is off

"Unspeakable," the new biographical show about the late comedian Richard Pryor slated for the Royal George Theatre in Chicago next month, has been cancelled.

A spokesman for the producers said a major piece of the funding for the commercial show, which was to feature Isaiah Washington in its cast and had Broadway aspirations, had fallen through. It is hoped to re-start the project in the spring. Ticket refunds are available from the point of purchase.
