Calling all cooks – and I mean all cooks: ABC’s “The Taste” is inviting restaurateurs, executive chefs, sous chefs, line cooks, culinary students or home cooks to audition for the Anthony Bourdain-hosted reality show.
There will be a casting call July 12 at Centered Chef Food Studios in the West Town neighborhood from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. You need to be 18 years or older to audition and bring your signature dish with you to the casting call for the judges to try. You can pre-register by clicking here.
Like NBC’s singing competition, “The Voice,” contestants on “The Taste” will take part in blind auditions where they’ll try to impress the judges (including Bourdain and Nigella Lawson) with just a spoonful of their dishes. The winner of “The Taste” will receive a $100,000 grand prize.
