Max McLean's hit version of C.S. Lewis' "The Screwtape Letters" is returning to the Chicago area. McLean said Tuesday that he will play fourshows at the McAninch Arts Center in Glen Ellyn March 16-18 and twoat the Paramount Theatre in Aurora on May 19. "Screwtape" was an unexpected hit at the Mercury Theatre in Chicago, playing for some six months at the North Side venue. Since then, this show, popular with Christian audiences and Lewis fans in general, has been playing much bigger venues across the country, including 10 sold-out weeks at the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C.
