Second City Up opener will be Brian Posehn

Comedian Brian Posehn will be the opening act at Up, the plush new venue run by The Second City in the Piper's Alley space formerly occupied by the long-running show "Tony 'N' Tina's Wedding."

Posehn will star at the club's opening performance, slated for Dec. 1, and the rest of the weekend.  Posehn is known his work on the TV shows "Just Shoot Me!," "Mr. Show" and "The Sarah Silverman Show."

He’ll be proceeded by Dov Davidoff, offering preview performances in the space Nov. 23-27.
