There’s a reason we never heard much about the Scottie and Larsa Pippen reality show after We Tv announced it in December 2012: WE Tv quietly decided not to pick the show up.
“This show was in development at WE Tv last year,” said Jaime Saberito, vice president of corporate communications for AMC Networks, which owns WE Tv. “A series was not ordered.”
WE Tv is home to several reality shows starring celebrities, including “Braxton Family Values,” “Kendra On Top” and “SWV Reunited.” “Big Pippen” revolved around the Bulls legend and his wife, who was part of the first season of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Miami.” According to the Hollywood Reporter, Scottie’s family from Arkansas and Larsa’s “overbearing” family would also play a role in "Big Pippen."
"Big Pippen" was created by Left/Right Productions, which was behind Style Network's "Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane" and VH1's "I Want to Work for Diddy."
