Sarah Silverman added to Just for Laughs

The comic Sarah Silverman has been added to the line-up of the TBS Just for Laughs Festival. Silverman will present an evening of her "favorite comedians" at the Chicago Theatre at 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. June 16. Tickets for all shows go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday.

The former Second City stars Kevin Dorff and Scott Adsit will also be in town, performing at the iO Theater on June 13 and 14.

Other newly announced shows include a late-night bill of Janeane Garofalo and Kyle Kinane at Second City's UP Comedy Club on June 13, and a show, entitled "Conspiracy Theory Live," performed by the former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura (as channelled by James Adomian)  on June 14 at The Hideout.

The Laugh Factory will also be busy with festival programing, featuring shows throughout the week involving the writers for the Conan show, among others, while venues from the Lincoln Hall to the Beat Kitchen will feature local and national comics. The festival, which is in its fourth year, now ranges across 19 venues.
