Ravinia jazz highlights include Tony Bennett, Ramsey Lewis

A tribute to Benny Goodman, a double-bill featuring pianist Ramsey Lewis and singer Dee Dee Bridgewater, and a return by singer Tony Bennett will highlight the Ravinia Festival's summer jazz offerings.

The jazz season will begin with musicians from the jazz wing of Ravinia's Steans Music Institute celebrating the institute's 25th anniversary at 4 p.m. June 14 in Bennett Gordon Hall; admission is $10.

A “Tribute to Benny Goodman Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of his Ravinia Debut” will feature Jeff Lindberg's Chicago Jazz Orchestra with clarinetists Anat Cohen and Larry Combs and vocalists Cyrille Aimee and Sylvia McNair, 7:30 p.m. June 14 in the Pavilion; $45-$55; lawn, $22.

Bennett will make his annual pilgrimage to Ravinia at 8 p.m. Aug. 22 in the Pavilion; $91-$101; lawn, $34.

Pianist Aaron Diehl will play at 6 p.m. Aug. 27 in Bennett Gordon Hall; $10.

Lewis and Bridgewater will perform at 8p.m. Aug. 28 in the Pavilion; $55-$65; lawn, $22.
