A small commercial show from MadKap Productions is slated to make its Midwest premiere in January at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave.
Entitled "Clutter: The True Story of the Collyer Brothers Who Never Threw Anything Out," the play by Mark Saltzman premiered in 2004 at the Colony Theatre in Burbank, Calif. It's the story of Langley and Homer Collyer, a famous pair of New York hoarders who live on Fifth Avenue in the 1920s. Saltzman wrote for "Sesame Street" for many years; producer Wendy Kaplan has worked often with the Citadel Theatre in Lake Forest. Wayne Mell, also managing director at the Citadel, will direct the show.Copyright © 2015, RedEye
