A 26-year-old mother has been charged with child abduction after leaving a supervised visit with two children, police said.
Antoinette Knox has been charged with two felony counts of child abduction, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Authorities began searching for Knox, her 9-month-old son and her 4-year-old daughter after she left a visit to their foster parent with the children during a supervised visit July 17, according to police. The three were located July 20, and the children were said to be in good condition.
Knox, who lives in the 8000 block of South Marshfield Avenue, is scheduled to appear in bond court today.
