Missing trio found safe

A 2-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl who were suspected to be with a 19-year-old cousin of the toddler when all three were reported missing on the West Side have been found safe, police said tonight.

Devon Tims, 2, was with his cousin Brian Connor, 19, when they were last seen about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 400 block of North Avers Avenue, going to Humboldt Park, police said in a missing person report on Wednesday.

Another teen who was suspected to be with them, 16-year-old Serna LeBron, reportedly had gone missing May 26 in the company of Connor, police said.

Police said all three had been located Thursday, and all were safe.

An investigation into the circumstances involved was ongoing, police said, and at this time no additional details were being released.
