Hypocrites 'Pirates' headed to Boston

The Hypocrites' production of "The Pirates of Penzance," as adapted and directed by Sean Graney, is headed to Boston.

The exuberent take on the Gilbert and Sullivan classic, a winter hit in Chicago during 2010 and 2011, will be part of the so-called Emerging America Festival, run by the  American Repertory Theater, Huntington Theatre Company, and the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston.

"Pirates" will be seen June 21-24 in the A.R.T.'s Oberon space.
