No one was injured during a hazardous materials incident inside a Lake View neighborhood bank this morning, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
A Level I Hazmat was called about 10 a.m. because of a "strong odor" coming from an unknown substance at the Bank of America, 963 W. Belmont Ave., according to the Chicago Fire Department.
No one was injured and the hazmat response was secured about noon, according to Fire Department spokesman Will Knight.
A hazmat response calls for multiple pieces of fire equipment to respond to the scene.
