Authorities are searching for a man who appeared to be in his 70s and was walking with a cane when he robbed a bank in north suburban Niles.
The Harris Bank branch at 7077 W. Dempster St. was robbed around 9:45 a.m. Saturday, according to FBI spokesman Joan Hyde.
The robber was wearing a brown coat and walked with a cane, she said. He showed a handgun in his waistband but no one was hurt, according to Hyde.
The FBI said he had gray hair and was about 5-foot-8.
