'Cirque Shanghai' back again; 'Cinderella' for the holidays

"Cirque Shanghai," the long-running attraction on Navy Pier, will be back once again this summer. Shows begin May 24 at the Skyline Stage, which (given the plans to improve the pier) is not long for this world.

And Broadway in Chicago said Tuesday that it will continue its partnership with the Emerald City Theatre Company, the non-Equity Chicago company producing theater for young audiences (including "Pinkalicious").

Emerald City's production of"Cinderella"(an original version, not the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical) will be at the Broadway Playhouse, 175 E. Chestnut St., beginning in November.
