A Cicero man was ordered held without bail after being charged with sexually assaulting seven children over a 14-year period, according to Cook County prosecutors.
Maximino Roman-Castaneda, 57, of the 2000 block of South Cicero Avenue, appeared in Cook County bond court Sunday on charges of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.
The seven victims were under the age of 13 at the time of the alleged assaults, according to Assistant State's Attorney Moe Ahmad. Court records show the accusations span from 1997 to 2011.
