The Bears’ Kyle Long and Jermon Bushrod treated patrons at Timothy O’Toole’s in Gurnee to a couple tunes Wednesday at the bar’s karaoke night.
The teammates and Virginia natives mostly sang country songs, according to Timothy O'Toole's bartender Scott Breitbach. He added that the crowd seemed to like their rendition of Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places” the most. Still, it appears Bushrod felt self conscious about his performance that night.
“That damn peer pressure got to me,” Bushrod wrote on his Instagram page, along with the hashtags #dontjudgeUs #firstTimer and #karaokeVirgin.
