It's not every day you see a guy with a huge tattoo on his face. On TV? Maybe (thank you, Mike Tyson and Gucci Mane). But not right in front of you. And yet, there was this imposing tatted up figure in front of me while I was out for a jog the other day.
Being the huge wimp that I am, I prepared myself for the worst. You know, "What the (expletive) are you looking at?" and "Watch where you're (expletive) going" scenarios that I neurotically created in my head. Fortunately, I was wrong and he left me alone. But little did I know how wrong I was.
It turns out this tatted up guy is Plateau car wash owner Marvin Cruz, and he has a fear himself: Pit bulls. The Romeoville resident was featured on Animal Planet's "My Extreme Animal Phobia" Friday and the video has been making the internet rounds for all the wrong reasons. I'd be lying if I said I didn't laugh during the video. Out loud. Multiple times. But like anyone with half a heart, I felt bad for him by the end. See the video for yourself. And if you want to know how he's been doing since taping the episode, check out this interview.
